The food was very good- and the coffee was also very nice. I think they have a proper espresso machine as the coffee had a very nice flavor. The menu had English so it’s easy to read by non-Japanese tourists. The view is also very nice, even on a rainy day, you can appreciate Biwako. Overall was a very nice experience, I will return in the future!

The best food and drinks !! The best taste! The best service! The best views while enjoying a wonderful lunch in a small town outside of Ostu ! Amazing quality! Beyond happy that myself and my wife stopped here today on our trip from the U.S. Arizona. Wish we had food this good back in the states !

Fantastic breakfast here. Had the French burger and French toast with red bean. Bread was eggy, burger had caramelised onions n it was the perfect combination. Coffee is good. Enjoy this with the stunning views of Lake Biwa right in front of you!

Chanced upon this nice small cafe just beside the road. Limited seats indoor. We sat outside at the patio, slightly chilly but good under the sun and with fresh air. Will highly recommend to try this cafe and enjoy a coffee in a quiet environment.

Fantastic food with a beautiful view. Slightly off the Biwaichi path, but definitely worth it. This place specializes in French toast! And had the most delicious iced latte.

Very welcoming and aesthetic cafe, I can only imagine how beautiful this place must be during sunrise (during which they are also open). Perfect place to stop by for coffee break during a tour of Lake Biwa. Very small and intimate place, they have a map with stickers indicating the guests from all over the world that have visited - so there was a new sticker added with our visit today.

we wanted to go skiing today but the lift at biwako was closed so we came to find a cafe instead. this cafe is on the side of the road and is small and quaint but so cute and warm inside, with a small swing and patio area outside too. the owners were very kind and asked us where we were from to add to his map stickers of all the guests of the cafe. the decor was also really cute and showcased a lot of small tokens and trinkets. we ordered a coffee, chestnut latte, egg sandwich, and curry sandwich. their french toast sandwiches are fluffy and moist and the flavors were delightful! the coffee had good flavor and the chestnut latte was really nostalgic. the space is small but cozy and overlooks the lake, and i imagine it must be beautiful in the warmer months when it’s greener. would absolutely love to come back again in the future, if we are ever in the area again.
